App is down due to datacenter outage

The datacenter networking hardware issues were reported by our provider to be finally solved around midnight UTC. Due to lingering issues our systems were affected a while longer. The app is now fully operational, and there seems to be no data loss since our actual data volumes were not affected.

Network issues

The root cause were network issues, which triggered a cascade of proxy failures in the app in one of our regions.
The server has been rebooted and the app works nominally again. The network is functioning, but we’re continuing to monitor the situation since these issues tend to recur, depending on the severity and global scale.
